Student Success Statement

“Right is right only when entire.” Victor Hugo said this. I think he is trying to inform us that when you don’t tell the entire truth it is still considered lying. Telling partial of the story is lying. For instance, lets say you tell your parents you're going to your friends house to play video games, but after that you go out with your friends and smoke. Then when you get back home your parents ask you, what did you do? You respond we just played video games. That is considered lying because you didn’t explain the other half of what you did. You chose the wrong. I agree with Victor Hugo and his quote.

Good Quality People

“Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for ‘tis better to be alone than in a bad company.” This is a very accurate quote that people shoud remember and live by. This was once said by the father of our country. George Washington. George Washington is trying to say to hang out with people who do good. WIth people who mean to do good. Don’t be influenced in a negative way. It is better to be with yourself than to be acompanied with bad people. For instance, if you have a caring and respectful friend who invites you to her house to study because you have a test the next day, but you have another friends who invites you to a party that everyone is going to attend. What should you decide? It is not hard to choose who you are going with. The best choice stands out. Go with your friend to study. You study and you get a good grade. Although if you go to the party you will fail the test. Do good and good will come to you. But if you choose to do bad, bad will come. I agree with George Wahington’s qoute.
