Student Success Statement

"Goal setting is goal setting. Set and get." This statement was stated by Mark Victor Hansen. I think that Mark is trying to emphasize that if you try to accomplish a goal you need to set your mind and be devoted to it as much as you can. He is trying to inform you that it is easy to achieve something if you stay focused. He is also trying to inform you that if you start off easy then it work your way up there can be more of a chance you can accomplish your goal easier.

Columbus Columbus
Christopher Columbus was born in October 31, 1451 in the Republic of Genoa, Italy. He then died in May 20, of 1506 in Valladolid, Spain. The explorer and navigator, Christopher Columbus made four trips across the Atlantic Ocean from Spain: in 1492, 1493, 1498, and 1502. Christopher Columbus was determined to find direct water route west from Europe to Asia, but he never did. Instead, he accidently stumbled upon Americas. Though he did not really “discover” the New World-millions of people had already lived there-his journeys marked the beginning of centuries of trans-Atlantic conquest and colonization. Christopher Columbus is credited with discovering the Americas. His explorations paved the way for the colonization and explorations of these areas. His first voyage into the Atlantic Ocean in 1476 nearly cost him his life.

Student Success Statement

"When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block." This quote was said by James E. Faust. This statement seems accurate to me. I agree with James E. Faust because obedience once you are obedient and respectful to others it then becomes a habit. On the other hand, if you're disobedient you will not lead to a good path. Obedience will always do you good. It will always lead you to a good future. But if you choose to be disobedient you won't have a good future.
