Student Success Statement

''What you're as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player.'' This statement was said by John Wooden. What does it mean exactly? To me it means that it doesn't matter if you're a basketball player what matters is who you truly are. No label determines you what determines you is your actions. So no matter how good you are at playing basketball or any sport in particular you it is more important if you stay true to yourself. It's not how big you are it's how much effort you put in.
