Places

Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. The road that wraps around Bora Bora is only 19 miles from beginning to end. It is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier rief. Bora Bora is a tiny island made up of three villages; Anua, Faanui, and Vaitape. It is known for its popular luxury resort destination. This is a pest free zone. There are hundreds of underwater species. During the second World War the US choose these islands as a supply outpost for USA’s South Pacific Fleet. There is no letter B in Tahiti language. Instead it has a letter P. Therefore Bora Bora is actually named Pora Pora. Pora Pora has a definition of first born.  If you are looking for a place where you can run away from everything and enjoy your solitude, Bora Bora is the one. I selected this island because I’ve always wanted to visit it along with New York, but I already went to New York so now I must visit Bora Bora.
